Polymer clay is a versatile modelling medium which can be used to make stunning jewellery.
On this beginner’s course you will learn how to select or make your own clay colours; how to condition the 'raw' material; how to mould and shape your designs to create beautiful bead shapes and how to build a clay cane. You will make a selection of plain, marbled and millefiori beads and complete a necklace and earring set to take home at the end of the day.
Materials for the course
Polymer clay, tools, equipment and refreshments are provided but you may like to bring
- Any jewellery pliers you already own
- A notebook and pen
- A camera/phone to record the progress of your work
- A pack lunch
